Acquisition trip Somaliland 2019

The ASCL visited the 12th Hargeysa International Bookfair from 17-25 July 2019 in Somaliland. ASCL and partner Leiden University Libraries added 500 titles in the fields of history, social sciences, politics, religion and fiction. The collection (14% Arabic, 12% English and almost 75% written in Somali) is a valuable addition to the libraries’ research and education resources.
