Abiodun Olusola Omotayo
Abiodun Olusola Omotayo is academic, senior researcher and practically experienced NRF-C2 rated researcher/scientist in the field of agricultural economics at the North West University, South Africa. He has over 15 years of professional research and lecturing experience with focus on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He has contributed to the UN’s Sustainable targets in Africa through the application of applied economics. His research engagements specifically have implications across climate change, food-nutrition security, environmental, health and welfare economics out of which has benefited from different funding institutions (AERC, DAAD, AgriSETA, NRF etc.) and published extensively with high impact journals in his field of expertise. He has also supervised many Masters and Doctoral research dissertations. Dr Omotayo currently serves as section editor for three respectable high impact international journals and frequently serve as reviewer for several other high impact journals and funding institutions. Besides contributing to the research community, he voluntarily contributes and add value to different think-thanks organisations through community engagement activities in Africa.
