Abiodun Omotayo Oladejo

Abiodun Oladejo is a researcher with Walter Sisulu University, South Africa. He obtained his PhD in 2021 from the University of Zululand, South Africa. His academic career began in 2013 when he was appointed Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. His primary fields of academic interest include, but are not limited to, environmental justice, resource politics in Africa, energy justice, and gender and development. His academic life has been marked by excellence with university recognition (University of Port Harcourt) for graduating with Summa Cum Laude at the end of his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree. He also received the Vice-Chancellor’s (University of Zululand) award in 2021 for research excellence. He has been a speaker and panellist in local and international conferences and workshops and has taught and authored articles in refereed journals in his fields of academic interest.
