Afam Ituma
Afam Icha Ituma is a Professor of Human Resource Management and the Vice-Chancellor of Coal City University, Enugu, Nigeria. He has vast international experience. He is a Visiting Professor of Human Resource Management and Internationalisation at the University of Lincoln (UK) and has been a Visiting Research Fellow at Kingston Business School (UK), Visiting Fellow at the African Studies Centre, University of Leiden (Netherlands), Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the University of London (UK), Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the University of Lisbon (Portugal), Erasmus+ Visiting Professor at the University of Kent (UK) and Linnaeus-Palme academic visitor at the University of Gavle (Sweden). He held a number of academic positions in the UK, including Lecturer at Brunel University, Academic Consultant at Mountbatten Institute and Senior Lecturer at Bournemouth University.
Professor Ituma has a strong profile in both research output and research leadership. He has many years of experience in teaching, editorial board membership, and university leadership, as well as authorship and editorial contributions to many top- tier journals. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker and chair at national and international conferences. He also consults to organisations in areas of corporate strategy Development, leadership, human resource management and organisational performance. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Management and Organisation Review and African Journal of Management and Social Sciences and a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy. He received his BSc in Mass Communication from ESUT (Nigeria), MBA from the University of Leicester (UK) and PhD in Management Studies from Brunel University (UK).
