Ane de las Heras Martin
Ane de las Heras Martín is a PhD candidate in Law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona, Spain. She holds a Master’s in Globalisation and Law from Maastricht University and a Master’s in Terrorism from INESM. She has worked with healthcare-related NGOs, contributing to communication efforts, policy analysis, and European-funded projects. Her research focuses on the impact of international interventions on generational cycles of conflict participation, with a particular emphasis on child soldiering. Her academic interests include international humanitarian law, conflict studies, human rights, and the role of international organizations in armed conflicts.
