Bradley Namunyu

Dr. Bradley Namunyu is a Kenyan academic and author. He holds Bachelor of Education Arts in Education, Master of Arts in History and is a Doctor of Philosophy in History; all from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. His specialization is peace, security and conflict studies. He currently serve as a teacher at St. Veronica High School Ranje in Bungoma, Kenya, on Teachers Service Commission.

He subscribes to periodic learning, unlearning and re-learning of new skills, knowledge, values and trends to be kept abreast with emerging models in the fast changing world of knowledge and job market. As a team player, he is open to academic liberty and stepping up for international collaboration in scientific research. Furthermore, he is a result-oriented professional who is committed to collective responsibility for sustainable progress and corporate success. He is a problem-solving social scientist researcher, he is passionate about scientific problem solving through credible and original research. He tries to encourage and incorporate disadvantaged groups like women and persons living with disabilities in research. From the foregoing, he is open to objective application of Artificial Intelligence as a research instrument for generating, analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data in historical research. He has written extensively on land and inter-ethnic conflicts in Kenya. His major contribution to the academia includes 3 books and 4 papers in peer-reviewed Journals. He is also currently writing a book on Land Question and colonialism in Africa: A case of Bukusu of Bungoma and Trans Nzoia Counties in Kenya.
