Lucy Ochieng
Dr. Lucy Ochieng is a distinguished leadership scholar and practitioner based in Nairobi. She earned her Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership and Organizational Change from United States International University–Africa, an MBA in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University (Kenya), a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Leicester (UK), and a BSc in Interior Design from Egerton University, alongside other professional certifications.
Since 2023, Dr. Ochieng has been an Adjunct Faculty member and Researcher at USIU–Africa’s Chandaria School of Business, where she teaches courses in corporate governance, business ethics, leadership, management, research methods, and entrepreneurship; supervises graduate theses; and publishes on leadership styles and SME performance in Kenya. At the same time, she co-directs Ben El Rades Limited, managing the design, financing, and delivery of affordable residential projects. She is a conference presenter, workshop contributor, peer-reviewed author, and also mentors emerging scholars and volunteers actively with the Doctoral Association of Eastern Africa.
