Mamadou Drame
Mamadou Drame is a Doctor of Letters (2004), with an option in French Grammar and and Doctor in Sociolinguistics (2014). Holder of Certificate in Secondary Education from the Ecole Normale Superieure, Dakar, he also taught French Grammar and the Teaching of French Grammar at the University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Phonetics and Sociolinguistics at the University of Ziguinchor, and Communication courses at Ecole Supérieure d’Economie Appliquée de Dakar. He is also a teacher and examiner of French for Foreigners.
Mamadou Drame is a member of several networks and research groups, including the Laboratory ANADISS (Romania) and SOLDILAF (Senegal) and an associate researcher at PREFICs (University Rennes II). He is the author of "Linguistique et sociolinguistique de l’argot contenu dans les textes de rap au Senegal", co-author of "La pédagogie du rap poétique" [a textbook], "De la didactisation du patrimoine oral africain : de l’enseignement préscolaire à l’université" and "Cours de didactique de la grammaire française à l’intention des professeurs vacataires et contractuels du Sénégal". He has also written several articles on urban cultural practices.
Mamadou Drame worked as a consultant for the Latin Union in Paris, and is a Fellow of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie. He underwent training in the management of online journals and the writing, adaptation and direction of plays.
