Moise Sagamba

Moise Sagamba is an MBA Manager at the University of Burundi with more than 10 years of experience as a teacher in management sciences, particularly in strategic management, international strategic management, strategic marketing and economic development in Africa. He previously held management positions in various sectors, including mobile telephony, industry, and hospitality, creating one of the first management consulting firms in Burundi. He holds a PhD from the Moscow University of Services, a MSc from the State University of Management, and a DESS in Finance from the University of Quebec.

For 6 years, he was a senior consultant in organizational management and organizational development, with an specialization in the management and dynamics of cooperatives and social enterprises in Burundi.
He also served as chief economic advisor in the Government of Burundi and chaired several national commissions, notably those for economic development, the Sustainable Development Goals, the creation of the Special Economic Zone in Burundi, and the removal of non-tariff barriers between Burundi and the countries of East Africa. Having worked for many boards of directors of public and private companies, he is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of a hotel company and an Independent Director of an insurance company in Burundi.
