Moses Mwangi

Dr Moses Mwangi, who has been a Visiting Fellow of the African Studies Centre Leiden in the Netherlands, has main backgrounds in Water Engineering and Integrated Water Resources Development & Management. Currently he serves as a Senior lecturer in the School of Agriculture, Environment, Water and Natural Resources (Department of Hydrology and Aquatic Sciences) at the South Eastern Kenya University. Prior to the post, he worked for the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programme. Dr Mwangi has been involved in various researches and, relief and development programmes in the East African region with, particular allusion to the arid and semi-arid environments. He also has particular interests in researches and innovations that aid rural people emerge out of poverty and, build freedoms and liberties in society.
