Nidhi Gautam
Dr Nidhi Gautam is an expert in skill development and education sector. She is a senior management professional and has managed various assignments independently in lead roles. She has significant experience in both Government and Private Consulting fields with an accelerated career path and honours. She has worked extensively as Senior Consultant for with Ministry of Education the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. With a background in developing education policy documents and development of competency-based curriculum for schools and higher education institutions in India, she has honed her skills in researching, curating, and producing high-quality digital content. She has contributed to organising consultations with industry and academic experts to review the curriculums at Industrial Training Institutions and Schools. She has experience of working closely with international organisations such as World Bank, GIZ, EU, ADB, OECD UN agencies.
Nidhi has around 15 years’ experience of working with the government on various socio-economic areas namely women empowerment, skilling of rural youth, women participation in tech-startups, apprenticeship opportunities for youth. As part of her work, she developed evidence based national policies and implementation strategies to bring change in the lives of youth and women at the grassroot level. She has handled major international MoUs with Government bodies in Australia, France, UAE, Korea. She has led number of policy papers, reports, white papers as an author and expert. She has been actively worked on a project for Girls in STEM in Schools in Delhi in collaboration with Government of Delhi.
Academically, she possesses doctorate in Public Policy and Business Sustainability from The TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERISAS), New Delhi.
Fluent in English and Hindi, she has a master’s in business administration and engineering degree.
