Nneka Idam
Nneka holds a PhD in Business Administration from Babcock University in Nigeria. She also earned two masters: in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and in Human Resource Strategy from the University of Sheffield, England. Additionally, she obtained her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Nneka’s over 30 years' work experience as a human resource management professional spans private, public and not-for-profit sectors across Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, and the United Kingdom. Currently, she is a human resource business partner for a global professional body where she oversees people strategy deployment and change management across multiple jurisdictions.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK), of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, and a Career Coach and NLP Practitioner certified by Henley Business School, England. Nneka is a certified Mental Health First Aider, assessor of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a PRINCE2-qualified project manager. She is also a published academic author with research interest in socially responsible human resource management practices and outcomes of persons with disabilities.
