Precious Wapukha

Dr. Precious Wapukha (PhD), is a lecturer in the department of social sciences at Kibabii University, Kenya. She is a seasoned scholar in the realm of peace and conflict studies. Her research focuses on dynamics in the historical trajectory of conflict and conflict resolution. Her groundbreaking research emphasizes on intractable conflict in Northern Kenya. She has published extensively in peer reviewed journal, presented papers in international conferences and occasionally publishes opinion pieces in Kenyan dailies including the Daily Nation, shedding light on the historical and cultural underpinnings of conflict. She has further contributed to the mentorship of the next generation of students in peace and conflict resolution. Her involvement of international avenues such as the UNESCO Bioethics workshop, reflects her dedication to promoting ethical research practices in conflict context.
