Rebecca Cudjoe
Rebecca Bakari Cudjoe is a PhD candidate at the African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL), Leiden University. Her PhD project explores the strategies adopted by unregulated migrants in responding to health and economic shocks in the COVID-19 era. Rebecca holds a Master of Art (MA) degree in Development Studies and specialises in Human Rights, Gender, and Conflicts Studies from the Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam. HerMA thesis investigated internal diversity within the Ghana Diaspora community in the Netherlands and UK. Her research interest spans Migration and Transnationalism, and the interrelationship with development, as well as other development-related issues such as nutrition and development. Rebecca also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Nutrition, obtained at the University of Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana.
