Rubain Bankole
Rubain Bankole is a junior researcher at the University of Parakou, located in Northern Benin. He completed a PhD in Sociology of Rural Development at the same university in January 2021 and his research interests lie in the sociology of development, with a particular focus on the reform of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and innovation studies. Bankole participated as a research assistant in an international research project titled “Under what conditions can Technical Education and Training (TVET) improve the income of youth?” This project was conducted in collaboration with the University of Parakou, the University of Abomey-Calavi, Kathmandu University School of Education, the University of Costa Rica, the University of Chile, as well as the Chairs of Education Systems and Development Economics at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Additionally, he supports Dr. Ilyass Sina D., Senior Lecturer at the National Agricultural University in Porto-Novo, and Dr. Guy Sourou Nouatin, Full Professor at the University of Parakou, in their academic and research activities.
