Africa in the Picture: the Portrayal of Women in African Film

The African Studies Centre (ASC) owns the archive of "Africa in the Picture" consisting of video tapes, photographs, posters, articles, books and journals. Ms Bakker will give a lecture on the theme and show some interesting movies. Ms ter Avest will speak about recent stocktaking of African films in the Netherlands.
