Book review 'Ondernemers in het wild' by Olivier van Beemen
In 2015, journalist Olivier van Beemen published a book about Heineken's activities in Africa. Nearly ten years later, a second book set on the African continent has been published. In 'Ondernemers in het wild' Van Beemen investigates the non-profit organisation African Parks. The mainly white organisation, which manages 22 game parks, aims to protect Africa's untouched nature. Dr Harry Wels, researcher on nature conservation in Southern Africa and convenor of the CRG 'Trans-species perspectives on African Studies' wrote a review of the book.
