Chibuike Uche in FD on the initial public offering of Ethio Telecom on the Ethiopian stock market

Professor Chibuike Uche was interviewed by FD regarding the initial public offering of Ethio Telecom on the Ethiopian stock market. The Ethiopian government has implemented measures to guide this privatization to protect its economy. Chibuike Uche describes this as a smart strategy. Without these controls, foreign investors could have acquired a majority of the stocks. If they later decided to sell, it could lead to the collapse of the country's economy.
