Ibrahima Poudiougou on Leiden University website about land resources control in Mali
Former PhD candidate Ibrahima Poudiougou, who defended his dissertation on 12 October 2023, was interviewed by the Leiden University website about land resources control in Mali. In the interview he states that both religious jihadists and 'self defence groups' see their own violence as a form of protection against other groups' violence, and he explains the role of rural migration in the Malian conflict.
