INCLUDE to co-host side panel at African Development Bank Annual Meetings in Lusaka
INCLUDE, the knowledge platform on inclusive development policies in Africa, co-hosted a side-panel at the African Development Bank Annual Meetings in Lusaka, 23 May. The panel, entitled ‘Jobs for women and young people – the transformative potential of agribusiness’, built on the concept of agribusiness, which lies at the heart of the AfDB’s strategy for transforming Africa’s agriculture sector. The panel discussed how employment for women and youth can be promoted within agribusiness. An INCLUDE Platform meeting takes place on 24 and 25 May, in which the results of the Research Groups so far are presented. You can follow the event on Twitter and Facebook.
