Mandipa Ndlovu on WHO panel on the future of the pandemic
On 4 November 2021, ASCL PhD candidate Mandipa Ndlovu participated in a WHO high level panel that unpacked forecasted futures for the COVID-pandemic. The panel built on the work undertaken by Arup Foresight in collaboration with the World Health Organization, which developed four scenarios for the future of the COVID-19 pandemic in the next 3 to 5 years. This was the first of two roundtables that will be organised. The other speakers were:

• Dr Renz Argao - Coordinator, Religions for Peace International Youth Committee
• Dr Andrea Hinwood - UNEP Chief Scientist
• Prof Alice Roberts - Anatomist and Anthropologist, Author and Broadcaster
• Mr Owen Tudor - Deputy General Secretary, International Trade Union Confederation
Moderator was Josef Hargrave, Director and Global Foresight Leader, Arup.
