Master's Open Day 2026: African Studies
Are you looking for a suitable master's programme to further specialise and prepare for a successful career? During the Master's Open Day on Friday 6 February 2026, you can find out all about the Master in African Studies, the future prospects and what it's like to study at Leiden University. Have a chat with students, alumni and lecturers and ask them your questions.
The Master African Studies will be presented from 11:15 - 12:00 in the Herta Mohr Building in room 1.80. Register here.
Programme
Watch live programme presentations, talk shows, and take part in Q&A sessions. Information sessions on practical matters such as housing, visas, admission, application, and student life will also be offered. Furthermore, there is an information market where you can go with all your questions. The live presentations last an average of 40 minutes and include the opportunity to ask questions.

Between 11:30 and 16:15, at the information market at the hall of Herta Mohr building, you can ask students, lecturers and student advisers questions about the master's programmes, admission, enrolment and student life.
You can also find out more during a speeddate event with alumni in Lipsius reception from 12:15-13:00 and 14:15-15:00.
