New project: increasing knowledge of staff at Africa Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

As of 1 September 2014, ASC staff is involved in a three-year project that aims to increase the knowledge of staff at the Africa Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Main goals are to deepen the knowledge about African countries and specific African regions of current and new staff members of the Africa Department and of the Embassies. ASC staff will hold seminars and other relevant meetings, give one-on-one training sessions to Ministry staff members and diplomats (knowledge ‘coaches’ will be assigned) and will strengthen their knowledge in the field of international cooperation and diplomacy. Lists with relevant literature will become available and in-house trainings at the Ministry will take place.
