Rahmane Idrissa and Mirjam de Bruijn in Algemeen Dagblad about coup d'etat in Niger

Rahmane Idrissa and Mirjam de Bruijn were interviewed by Algemeen Dagblad about the coup d'etat in Niger. In the interview Idrissa gives an overview of (failed) democratisation attempts in contemporary Nigerien history, while De Bruijn confirms Idrissa's observations with examples from Burkina Faso and Mali concerning safety, terrorism and general insecurity. "We did not book enough progress in building a democracy" Idrissa concludes.
