Research and policy in the Sahel towards 2050

Last May a conference was held in London entitled "The Sahel 25 years after the drought". This conference was meant to take stock of current research and policy issues. Much has changed in thinking about the Sahel and the Sahel itself since the droughts. In this seminar current issues will be highlighted as well as dilemmas facing policy makers and researchers working in the Sahel.
