Tycho van der Hoog cited in Artforum about North Korean statues in Southern Africa
Tycho van der Hoog was cited in Artforum concerning his book Monuments of Power (2019). In his book van der Hoog notes that midcentury North Korean public art and architectonics differ from versions in the Soviet Union and China because of the “near total destruction of Pyongyang during the Korean War".
