Tycho van der Hoog in Mare on African support for North Korean regime

Tycho van der Hoog, who succesfully defended his PhD dissertation on Tuesday 7 May, was interview by Mare about the economic support of African countries to the regime in North Korea. In the interview Van der Hoog explains why North Korea needed African support in the 1960s, how North Korea has been spreading its ideology on the continent, and why North Korea is involved in constructing monuments in African countries.
