USA launch of Stephen Ellis' book about the ANC

ANC senior researcher Stephen Ellis' award winning book External Mission: The ANC in Exile 1960-1990 has been launched in the USA by Oxford University Press, 1 October 2013. The book was awarded the Recht Malan Prize for Non-Fiction by Media24 in South Africa earlier this year. It's a meticulous study of the little-known history of the ANC's long period of exile. Ellis used hitherto hidden archives, including those of the East German Stasi.
