Vacancies: two researchers and a postdoctoral researcher

The African Studies Centre offers three vacancies: two researchers and one postdoctoral researcher:

Two Researchers 0.7-1.0 fte

with specialization in political economy, international relations, and/or politics as they relate to Africa with a focus on such issues as the macroeconomics of trade, investment, finance, aid, and remittances; international and/or regional security; the role of so-called emerging powers from Asia and Latin America in Africa; and/or issues of ‘equitable’ or ‘inclusive’ development.

Applicants must have a PhD on a topic relevant to the ASC’s research programme

Postdoctoral Researcher  0.7 - 1.0 fte
(for a fixed term of a maximum of four years)

with specialization in the analysis of questions of governance in so-called fragile states in Africa and/or with a focus on issues of ‘equitable’ or ‘inclusive’ development in Africa.

Applicants must have a PhD on a topic relevant to the ASC’s research programme
