Arnold Pannenborg
Arnold Pannenborg (1976) studied cultural anthropology at the University of Amsterdam and did his MA fieldwork on the religious aspect of football in Cameroon. In 2008 his book How to Win a Football Match in Cameroon was published at the African Studies Centre in Leiden. Currently he is a PhD candidate at the University of Tilburg / African Studies Centre Leiden. His research includes the financial, political and prestigious reasons for administrators and clubofficials to run and sponsor football in Ghana and Cameroon.
On 12 October 2012 Arnold Pannenborg defended his dissertation at Tilburg University.
