Samuel Owuor

Dr. Samuel Owuor, a Kenyan national, is a Senior Lecturer and Chairman, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, University of Nairobi, Kenya. He holds a PhD in human geography (University of Amsterdam), an MA degree in urban geography (University of Nairobi/McGill University) and a BA degree in geography (University of Nairobi). His current research interest revolves around broad and specific issues in urban development, governance and management; urban poverty, livelihoods and food security; internal migration and urban-rural links; and water sector reforms and interventions in urban areas.
