Azeb Amha is responsible for text collection and annotation on Wolaitta (Omotic) within the project CORPAFROAS: Corpus Orale en Langues Afroasiatiques, Analyse Prosodique et Morphosyntaxique, a collaborative project involving the University of Nantes, CNRS Paris, and various language laboratories and linguists working on Afroasiatic languages.
