Marianne de Klerk

Marianne de Klerk worked in Africa for close to 20 years, in particular in the Horn of Africa, including 13 years in Sudan and South Sudan. Her work has included humanitarian and development projects, action research, advocacy  and lobbying . From 2013-2019 Marianne worked on issues related to local government, such as accountability, intergovernmental cooperation, peace building and conflict management. In 2020 Marianne moved from South Sudan to Asia, but remains interested and involved in issues related to state and nation building in South Sudan and Sudan.
