Megersa Debele Tiki

Megersa Debele Tiki is an Ethiopian. He has a BSc in Forestry and he did an MSc in Leisure, Tourism and Environment at Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands. He has long experience of serving as a lecturer and researcher at Hawassa University, Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources in Ethiopia. He has experiences and exposures in project involvements, research, conference, training visits and engagements in different countries such as the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. His professional affiliation/inclination is the "people-ecology in nexus", particularly, but not limited to, a natural environment. Currently he is a PhD candidate at Radboud University focusing on linkages between the conservation of ecosystems and maintenance of the livelihoods of local communities.
