Africa Film Festival
As part of the ASC's 65th anniversary celebrations, we are presenting a one-day Africa Film Festival in cooperation with Africa in the Picture. Four recent films by African film makers will be screened for the very first time in Leiden and can be seen on the last day of the Leiden International Film Festival at the Complex Scheltema in Leiden.
The Nigerian film maker Kunle Afolayan will attend the festival. After the screening of his film Phone Swap there will be a Q&A session.

17:00 - 18:30 Playing warriors, by Rumbi Katedza (Zimbabwe)
18:30 - 19:30 Break. African food will be served (bunnychows and salade). Presentation of Het Nieuw Afrikaans kookboek
19:30 - 21:15 Viva Riva!, by Djo Tunda Wa Munga (Congo)

- Viva Riva by Guido Convents, film historian and anthropologist
Tickets can be bought at the entrance of the Scheltema building upon arrival. Price: € 8 per film.
