Mirjam de Bruijn interviewed by Bureau Buitenland about Sahel

Mirjam de Bruijn was interviewed by radio show Bureau Buitenland about a large-scale terrorist attack in Mali which killed dozens. This underlines how unstable the Sahel is, becoming the main hotbed of jihadist violence. Terrorist groups, ranging from Islamic State to Al-Qaeda-affiliated movements, are gaining ground, particularly in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. These groups are increasingly turning against one another.
