Visiting Professorship for two ASCL researchers
Two ASCL researchers have been appointed Visiting Professor abroad. Rahmane Idrissa has been appointed Visiting Professor at the Africa Institute (Sharjah, United Arab Emirates), part of the Global Studies University. Idrissa will be a Visiting Professor teaching several courses to the Africa Institute's first cohort of MA students International Relations. Idrissa is also advising the institute in its teaching missions and assessment exercises. Read more about Idrisssa's appointment.
Annachiara Raia will serve as a Visiting Professor at the University of Torino (UniTo) in May-June. She will teach Swahili Literature in Arabic Script and conduct research in the framework of her NWO Veni project Portable Islam, fostering intellectual exchanges within Italy’s Africanist network.
