Afam Ituma
Afam Ituma is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management Studies at Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo (FUNAI) Nigeria. He is also the Inaugural Director, FUNAI Entrepreneurship and Employability Centre. He received his BSc in Mass Communication from ESUT (Nigeria), MBA from University of Leicester (UK) and PhD in Management Studies from Brunel University (UK). He is a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Prior to joining FUNAI, he held a number of academic positions in the UK, including Lecturer at Brunel University, Academic Consultant at Mountbatten Institute, Visiting Research Fellow at Kingston Business School and Senior Lecturer at Bournemouth University. He has published widely cited research on a broad range of people management and entrepreneurship issues in developing economies, in a number of top-tier journals and regularly presents his work internationally. While at ASCL, his work will focus on working with Researchers at the Centre on research projects focusing on Entrepreneurship Development in Africa. He will also use the opportunity to work on other collaborative research projects with members of the Cross-Cultural Collaboration on Contemporary Careers (The "5C Group").
