Jeffrey Fonk

Jeffrey Fonk holds a master's degree in Asian Studies from Leiden University. Since August 2024, he is an external PhD candidate at the ASCL, focusing on harbour development in Southern Africa during colonial times. His research interests encompass the political economy of port development in both the Dutch East Indies and British South Africa.
