Jeremiah O. Arowosegbe

Prof. Jeremiah Arowosegbe is a historically-oriented and philosophically-stimulated political scientist. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Professor of Political Science at the African Studies Programme in the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany. My home affiliation is the Department of Political Science. University of Ibadan, Ibadan. Nigeria. My life-time research and teaching focus on Political Theory and African Political Thought. My expanded research specialisations cover African development, African politics, African Studies, conflict studies, development studies, postcolonial studies as well as the epistemologies and intellectual histories of contemporary Africa. These entail comparative historical research and teaching on Africa, Africa's diasporas, Latin America, Middle East, South Asia and the Caribbean.
